I’ve now read the petition sent to the town. I’m sure it will be posted soon but it is to adjust the number of members and length of term and by doing so unseat all current members and have re-elections for all current members in the fall. It is a pretty blatant attempt to unseat the current membership of the BOE to get a membership more to their liking. I’d guess they anticipate many of us won’t run again. They want it done in a special town meeting, something that the CPS is very good at getting turn out for.The signatures on the petition read like a who’s who of CPS. Also of note is one current BOE member (Steve Rosendahl) and one ex-First Selectman (Margaret A. Wholean).
