You are holding the community hostage by indulging these people and washing every single thing they do in the absolution of the ‘rights’ of this disgruntled group of miscreants. I have news for you… These idiots will be disgruntled and just as meanspiirited, no matter what we do. They do not respect your rights or the rights of this community. Some of them have been suing people for YEARS!!!
If you want more ‘ownership’ of your boards/subcommittees go to the damn meetings. After a while the boards/committees will actually seek your opinion, once they learn that you are genuinely interested and aren’t just there to put them through the paces.
The reason we elect these people to do these jobs is to represent US so we don’t have to MICRO-MANAGE these issues ourselves. Not to overuse the phrase, but alot of YOU PEOPLE are the reason these crackpots keep pulling the crap they pull. They KNOW you’re going to get up on your high horse and help them with your continued invention of things that you wonder about and whether or not you’re getting all the answers. I wowuld expect more from children!
