This is the expected impact of sequester non-military cuts in CT that take place on March 1. Connecticut appears to be a relatively low impact state.

So this is a 2% cut on an increase of 6% ?
Washington is in meltdown mode because we can’t agree on how much MORE
we need to spend is what I take away from this.
Looking to see the sky fall tonight.

Have to agree with Db. These cuts will do nothing to curtail long term deficits, they are indiscriminate and largely demonstrative of D.C.’s dysfunction. I see where Ovama is going with this politically- certainly the Republicans intransigence in taxing the ultra rich is telling of their true allegiances, but the American people, I believe, are just plain sick of the drama. Where are the jobs??? Thats what people really care about. And neither party seems to care.
I agree with Db and Libdem. The effects of these cuts have been completely overblown.
Towns depend on state funding, and states depend on federal funding. With all that up in the air, could be a very tough budget process in a lot of places.
