Admin, since you have pointed out that it is your blog, run as you see fit, with no editorial policy, in an inconsistent, ad-hoc manner, full of trashy, personalized commentary, it would of course have to be YOUR editorial policy, not mine. So the basis for your request is not logical.
I would point out, as you know, that I have communicated my strong objections to you, here and by other means, to personalized commentary, not just about my own family, but about others families, including Wetzel and Powers, with whom I share little agreement on, well, anything. In these instances it seemed incredible to me that you could not distinguish between appropriate criticism of public officials and malicious personalized gossip - it had to be pointed out to you directly by a third party.
Your perch here, given the quality and nature of the information you have conveyed the past 2-3 years, is hardly a basis for a moral imprimatur on your part, and, as pointed out before, certainly does not qualify your understanding of any subject matter, which I increasingly think, in addition to the above, may be part of your problem.
And its not as if you have some basis in public service on which to draw, since you have never served on a town board, and sabatoged your only political campaign, with no attention to your impact on others.
So I would say the Cafe, as a social experiment, has been an overall failure, due to the above factors. And I would say my association with this thing has become an overall embarrassment. Accordingly, you should assume that your threats to banish my comments, in an effort to steer them, are not only contrary to your own editorial policy, but contrary to the very purpose of the Cafe, and of course ineffective on your part.
